Max
Big Film Design is proud to have created the title sequence for Max-the movie, from MGM, opening this Friday, June 26, in theaters nationwide.
Max, a military dog from Afghanistan, is adopted by his late handler’s grieving family in the U.S., where his close bond with the soldier’s brother leads to a life-altering revelation in this family-friendly adventure from director Boaz Yakin (who penned the screenplay alongside writer Sheldon Lettich). The film is based on a true story.
We previously worked with director Boaz Yakin (best known for Now You See Me, Safe, Prince of Persia and Remember the Titans) on Uptown Girls and Fresh. And we have also worked numerous times with the editor Bill Pankow, most recently on Let’s Be Cops and Letters to Juliet. It was great working with both of them again on this entertaining project.
Max reveals the world of military dogs and the complicated ways they bond with their humans. And Max will certainly tug at your heartstrings. We hope you’ll go out and enjoy the film this weekend.
