We’re very excited to have been a part of making Spike Lee’s new film from Focus Features, BlacKkKlansman. BFD was the exclusive supplier of visual effects, graphics and titles for this extraordinary picture. It opens in theaters nationwide today, Friday August 10.

BFD’s Randy Balsmeyer, worked as visual effects supervisor for BlacKkKlansman and oversaw the BFD team’s creation of 180 VFX shots. Randy’s collaboration with Spike Lee goes back to his second film, School Daze. Balsmeyer also designed the title sequences and graphics for the picture.

We’re proud to be associated with this fabulous movie and hope you will go see it this weekend! But don’t just take our word for it (okay we’re biased). Here’s what the critics have to say:
